Driving Medicals

At Covenant Medical Hub, our healthcare services include the following:

1. Medical Assessment for Fitness to Drive: This comprehensive assessment aims to determine your fitness to drive safely. This assessment occurs every year for anyone 75 years or older or if you have a long-term medical condition, disability, illness, or injury that may affect your driving.

2. Bus Driver/Commercial Driver Medicals: Tailored specifically for Bus & Commercial drivers, we provide meticulous medical assessments that ensure you are both physically and mentally capable of safely operating a motor vehicle, considering the unique demands of your profession.

  • All commercial drivers under the age of 60 with no medical conditions need to complete a medical assessment every 2-3 years, depending on your employer.
  • If you have an existing medical condition or you’re aged over 60, you’ll need to complete a medical assessment every year.

3. Assessment for Disability Parking Permit: We will assess eligibility for a disability parking permit, so people with disabilities (both drivers and passengers) and older Australians have access to a reasonably safe place with adequate room to park. This permit can be valid anywhere from 6 months up to 5 years.

The Covenant Medical Hub team is dedicated to providing quality healthcare services that guarantee the safety and well-being of our patients on the road.
