Dr Keshani Weragama

Meet Dr Keshani Weragama, a compassionate and thoughtful General Practice Registrar at Covenant Medical Hub, providing patient-centred care to individuals and families across Western Sydney. With a strong background in hospital medicine and a genuine passion for holistic, community-based healthcare, Dr Keshani is committed to helping patients feel heard, informed, and supported at every stage of life.

Dr Keshani completed her Doctor of Medicine at Western Sydney University and also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Child Health, reflecting her strong interest in paediatric and family medicine. Her hospital training includes experience in palliative medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, oncology, and general surgery, having worked at hospitals including The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

One of the most meaningful parts of Dr Keshani’s training was her time in palliative medicine and radiation oncology, where she developed a strong focus in compassionate communication, supporting patients and families through complex health journeys. 

Outside of the practice, Dr Keshani enjoys long drives, discovering new swimming spots, and hunting down the next viral food trend!
