Dr Bao Thach Nguyen

It’s Dr Bao! Dr Bao Nguyen grew up in Western Sydney and completed both a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney. After an internship and residency at Westmead Hospital, Dr Bao moved into general practice in 2018.

He is passionate about improving health literacy and health outcomes in underprivileged areas of Western Sydney. His medical interests include paediatrics, preventative healthcare, smoking cessation, weight management, insomnia, and alternative medicine. Dr Bao speaks both English and conversational Vietnamese.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and relaxing with his wife, two dogs, and cat—he’s also recently welcomed adorable adorable baby girl twins!
